Pomodoro Team allows you to apply the pomodoro technique individually or with your team.
The pomodoro technique is a method to manage the time you spend on an activity. Its objective is to improve productivity. Basically, it consists of dividing time into work intervals, called pomodoros, and rest intervals.
As a general rule, the pomodoros are structured as follows: a pomodoro followed by a short pause and a longer pause every four pomodoros.
During the pomodoro, normally 25 minutes, you must be focused on a single task. No distractions allowed. You can not read the mail, or answer the phone or visit social networks. Neither accept interruptions from your workmates.
After the work interval you can take a 5 minute break to do whatever you want. In addition, if you have already worked for 4 pomodoros in a row, the pause may be longer, about 20 minutes.
You can use Pomodoro Team individually. But it is best to use it with your team so they know when you are working and when they can interrupt you!
Distractions at work due to interruptions of colleagues decrease your productivity and, therefore, that of the whole group.
Pomodoro Team allows you to apply the Pomodoro technique collaboratively, so that everyone knows at all times when someone is in a Pomodoro or taking a break.
To create a collaborative room in Pomodoro Team, access the "In Team" link, sign in and add the email addresses of your colleagues. From then on you can use the room to work together.
If you want to add another member to the room, simply share the link to it.
